The water heater is one of the most important appliances in your home—it helps your family remain comfortable and clean—yet it’s also one of the most neglected. Water heater inspection and maintenance is extremely important for proper and ongoing functionality and we recommend that you get an inspection every year and replace the heater anode every three years.
When we inspect your water heater, we check for rust and corrosion of the combustion chamber and heat exchanger. We do this with an infrared camera, which allows us to see any sort of damage much better and clearer than with the naked eye. After assessing the level of rust, corrosion, and damage to your heater, we can come up with a solid plan for fixing or, if necessary, replacing the heater.
Having the right HVAC system maintenance annually is extremely important when it comes to reducing the risk of emergency repairs, extending the life of your system and keeping your system operating at peak efficiency. Better yet, regular HVAC maintenance has been shown to reduce yearly utility bills by up to 30%!
At AAA, we service HVAC of all brands, makes and models. While we inspect and repair your furnace venting, it’s common for your water heater to be working in combination with the central heating system. If that’s the case, we can also work on your water heater and replace it, if necessary: including cleaning your dryer vent!

Because mobile and manufactured homes vary in the way they’re constructed compared to traditionally-built homes, the design and installation of a mobile home HVAC must be done differently. Knowing those differences are incredibly important for an HVAC installation and servicing contractor. AAA Furnace and Air Conditioning knows those differences all too well.
For over 60 years, we’ve been the choice of park managers and mobile home owners in the San Jose area. We make sure our technicians are experts when it comes to maintaining, servicing and installing water heater and heating & cooling systems. Because our technicians undergo yearly training, they are always up-to-date on the latest issues found in mobile home parks and can easily identify replacement parts and which equipment will work best for the homeowner.
Indoor Air Quality
When was the last time you thought about the quality of air in your home? Not in a while? Never?
Indoor air pollution affects millions of people every and contributes to some very bad, chronic illnesses. The most common pollutants you’ll find in your home are dust, mold, pollen and even insect remains. The worst part is that the vast majority of these pollutants usually collect in your heating and cooling systems. Those pollutants are then distributed around your home by the HVAC system—affecting everyone in the house.
Additionally, having a stable temperature throughout the home will do wonders for the comfort of the entire family, no matter what room they’re in. When combined with a properly designed duct system, you will make the air in your home the total package.
If you want to improve the air quality in your home, AAA Furnace has a few solutions for you:
It’s recommended that you change the filter in your HVAC system every 90 days. These filters will take care of larger particles and ensure that your system doesn’t clog or overheat. Upgrading your air filtration system will have a dramatic effect on the quality of air in your home. At AAA, we recommend the TRANE CleanEffects system.
UV Air Purification Systems
Ultraviolet light can break down the molecular bonds of micro-organisms (like germs, viruses, bacteria, mold, etc.). When combined with an air filtration system, have a UV Purifier will do wonders for the air you and your family are breathing.
Have you ever noticed how different rooms can have different temperatures in your home? In the summer, the downstairs could be 10-15 degrees cooler than upstairs. In the winter, the upstairs might be getting overheated. By splitting your system into 2 or more zones, we can regulate the temperature throughout the entire house. This could mean installing a system for the upstairs or downstairs, having two systems on opposite ends of the house or developing a zoned duct system.
You usually hear about humidifiers being installed in homes that are in cold, dry areas. Northern California doesn’t fit into that category, but having a humidifier is still a very smart purchase for your home. Not only does keeping your relative humidity above 50% make you more comfortable and improve your respiratory functions, but it also eliminates static electricity and protects furniture & window coverings from drying out or discoloration.
Our Customer Stories
We hired AAA Furnace + Air Conditioning to inspect the HVAC systems at two Willow Glen residents. We were able to easily schedule two consecutive appointments. Brian performed the inspections on both properties. He was prompt, cordial, efficient, and an expert. He explained what he planned to do, executed it, and gave us the results in an easily understandable manner. In summary: the initial contact via phone, scheduling, communication, arrival, and especially service were all outstanding! Chico M.
I had Vinni and Matt on today for our yearly checkup on our furnace, ducts, etc. They were great! They did so much checking that they found some things that needed repair. Great couple of guys and workers. Thanks AAA for a great job! Cathy D.
